About
'Kona Bubbles' is a gorgeous home in gated Meilani View Estates with ocean views just above Kailua Kona. Recently finished in 2016, this custom built 4 bed, 4.5 bath home offers almost 3000 sq. ft. of roomy interior space including a detached guest suite/ garage combo & resort style pool with LED lighting at night for endless days and nights of fun with family & friends.
There are floor to ceiling window walls which retract completely to let you take in the view of the serene Pacific, and enjoy true indoor-outdoor living. Relax by the salt-water pool surrounded by tropical plants and flowers. Dangle your feet in the water from your chaise lounge on the Bahama shelf. Inside, there's a gourmet kitchen with gas range, wine cooler and everything else you need to enjoy good times with family and friends. Each bedroom has its own en suite bath, so complete privacy can be had by all guests. Main house has three bedrooms and sleeps 6. Separate ohana is a 1BR/1BA efficiency unit with a king size bed and its own minibar. All rooms open to the exterior to allow the trade winds to naturally cool the whole house. Located on a cul de sac in a quiet, gated community, yet only a 5 minute drive down the hill to Kona proper and the farmer's market. World class snorkeling, beaches, kayaking and hiking are all within a short drive. The Big Island is home to historic heiaus, cultural museums and the fascinating geology of the volcano.
This home sits stately upon just under a 1/2 acre of land on the edge of a local pasture land, and has been thoughtfully planted with papaya, coconuts, avocado, oranges, and so many tropical flowing trees and local plants with irrigation.
Bedroom & Bathroom Configuration:
Master Bedroom has a King Sized Bed & the Master Bathroom contains a jetted tub, a shower and an outdoor shower as well.
Guest Bedroom#1 has a Queen Sized Bed it's own Private Bathroom has a Tub/Shower Combination
Guest Bedroom#2 has a Queen Sized Bed & it's own Private Bathroom which has a Walk In Shower.
Ohana/Detached Guest Suite#3 has a King Sized Bed, it's own Private Bathroom has a Walk In Shower.

**All guests are required to sign a rental agreement with Knutson & Associates Property Management in addition to purchasing a Damage Protection Plan or providing a Security Deposit if they stay at this property.Minimum age of primary renter is 25. Quiet time for the subdivision is 9 PM to 8 AM. All renters will be asked to sign a Neighborhood Noise Level Addendum.** 2 car maximum allowed.

1. You have a complimentary concierge service to make Restaurant/Activity Reservations if you so desire to utilize
2. Need us to go grocery shopping or pick up certain items from the store before you arrive? We can ensure everything is in the property waiting for you upon your arrival! (Additional Service Charge May Apply)
3. Any guests who book 14 nights or longer will receive a Fruit Basket upon their arrival as a gift from the owner.
4. Face to Face Arrival/Departure Experience Offered Complimentary! All guests who book Kona Bubbles will be provided a personalized arrival check in with a Property Management Member upon their arrival to go over property specifics. We will turn on any fans/lights to ensure you enter into a comfortable inviting environment!

Kona Bubbles was the perfect place to celebrate my 40th birthday. Having 4 bedrooms for myself and my friends worked out perfectly. The views from the house were amazing and the pool was so much fun to relax by. We loved all the fruit and flowers on the property as well. The house was fully stocked with just about everything you could think of.
Would totally recommend staying here if you want a nice quiet beautiful house to relax in.

Kona Bubbles was our home for 12 days in November. It is a very special place. Located at about 650 ft elevation, the house gets wonderful breezes and some light rain in the afternoon. The ocean boasts panoramic ocean views and immaculate landscaping. The majority of our time was spent outside around the pool but the home is incredibly beautiful too. This property was a great setup for our multigenerational family and we enjoyed every starry night we spent here.

Our stay at Kona Bubbles was absolutely wonderful! The pictures are stunning but the place is even better in person! We had such a relaxing and easygoing stay at the rental. It was equipped with so many convenient things that took away many of the hassles of figuring out what to bring, buy, or plan for. We were able to do plenty of food prep and have the items needed to bring what we needed out to the beach and our other adventures. Having a bathroom setup for each room, the private ohana suite, the pool, and ample space made the stay comfortable for everyone in our party. We were a little surprised that there wasn’t AC as we are not acclimated for the warmer humid weather, but having screen doors with good air flow (and many fans available too) was actually quite nice and gave a true tropical experience. The various plants and layout make for such a beautiful outdoor space. We loved trying the garden’s fruits and seeing all the wildlife in the area. Truly, truly an incredible stay. Thank you so much for hosting us, we would love to visit again.

Kona Bubbles was the perfect house for our family. From the pool to the fruit trees to the gorgeous sunsets to the birds singing in the morning, it's truly a paradise!! The separate guest house with a full bath and kitchen worked out perfectly for my parents! We could not have asked for a better house. The kitchen was gorgeous and huge to cook and enjoy delicious local foods. The house was close to all the stores and airport. It's located in a very quiet neighborhood. The home was clean and had everything you could imagined or needed for your home away from home. Blake, the property manager was very helpful and met us to walk us through, explaining everything. If we had any questions, he was a quick text away. Our whole family loved this house and would definitely return in the future!

This home is spectacular! The suites all have their own bathrooms and the beds are super comfortable. The home was sparkling clean and in this day and age that is important. The kitchen was spacious enough for multiple cooks and multiple people to help clean up. Pool was great for little ones too!

The home was exactly as portrayed, a great, modern and comfortable home with every feature we could want. Beautiful sunset views over the ocean.
Rooms are large, the lanai and pool deck are huge, and indoor-outdoor living was great. It was 85 degrees and the fans and windows kept us cool. Our party of 7 was very comfortable. It's located behind gates in a select community and we took daily walks through the area. Location is great, just 5 minutes from shopping and restaurants, a few more into downtown Kailua-Kona and the beaches. During Covid we found enough outdoor dining restaurants (Humpy's, On the Rocks) and take-out that we enjoyed, and we bought groceries and cooked a lot--including the glorious marlin and ahi our fishermen party brought home from their excursion in the deep sea. We also enjoyed the night manta ray snorkel trip and snorkel boat to Captain Cook Monument.

Kona Bubbles is a perfect place to escape. There is so much space to move around, every room has its own bathroom. Because of COVID we chose to stay at the home the majority of the time, and we were all able to relax, enjoy the perfect weather, dip in the pool, enjoy the view, eat fruit from the trees, cook or get take out and enjoy being together in the outdoor space. No one wanted to leave... Kona Bubbles was the perfect bubble for our times.

Kona Bubbles was our home for the holiday. Five adults and two 13-year old boys were more than comfortable-we were in heaven. Like most homes in Hawaii it does not have AC, but each evening a cooling breeze made for comfortable lounging and sleeping. Besides a refrigerator filled with food, everything we needed was provided: a well stocked kitchen that supported making a Thanksgiving feast; great wifi and cable TV service; an excellent washer/dryer; beach towels, chairs, mats, toys, and snorkel gear; and enough papayas for all of us. Do not hesitate to book this home.

Kona Bubbles provided our party of 4 couples the absolute perfect holiday. The spacious home and 4 bed w/ensuite allowed each couple space and privacy. The home is perfectly positioned to enjoy sunsets in the outside living room area and we cooked wonderful meals in the well stocked kitchen every evening. Located at the perfect elevation for slightly cooler evenings we all slept well on the very comfortable beds.

We had a wonderful week with three generations of family at Kona Bubbles! The house is beautiful and there are great spaces to spend time together as well nice spaces for privacy. The pool area and landscaping are gorgeous and well maintained! The covered lanai allowed us to spend most of our time outside even during the occasional afternoon rain shower. The sunsets were spectacular! The house is very well equipped and all we had to get was food if we wanted to cook in. The beach gear that was provided was such a nice touch. The location is very convenient to town and a good home base for visiting beaches and other attractions on the island. The owners and management were very responsive and helpful throughout the whole process. We would definitely love to stay at Kona Bubbles again on our next visit to Hawai’i!

Overall our stay was 3 out of 5 stars. I was disappointed that the neighbors below the house started playing their TV loudly at 3:30 A.M. one morning yet renters are expected to comply with strict no noise rules. The location is not very convenient.

A special treat for our 5 day celebration. The pool was awesome with it's multiple entry points. The kitchen was easy to cook in with multiple cooks. And kudos for enough towels for the pool and showers. Love that each sleeping area has its own bathroom. A plus is that it was close to everything. Quick response to any issues.
