From the moment we walked in, we were very pleased with how it looked in comparison to the photos, very accurate, and such a cozy, cute place! The linens were very soft and clean, each room tidy and relaxing. The appliances were top notch, and we enjoyed how how many items were available in the kitchen for cooking your own meals. We LOVED the fact that Casa De Emdeko has a saltwater pool as well as a regular pool for lounging outside, as well as a place to enjoy the waves and sunsets. It's a very convenient location, and it's great that there's a mini mart around the corner for necessities. Also can't thank Knutson & Associates enough for their top tier communication and care and concern for their guests. We WILL be back! Mahalo nui loa!

When planning our trip to Kona, we chose Casa De Emdeko based on the photos and description. Both represent the condo and property truely. For a family of three, this condo was perfect and felt like home away from home. We enjoyed the spacious lanai to eat breakfast and relax. Everything was clean ready for us upon check in. Knutson & Associates Property Management were readily available via text or call to help out with any questions, needs, or concerns. The condo is close to downtown Kona and right on the ocean. Most of the Big Island has lava/shoreline, and Casa De Emdeko is on such a shoreline. But they have created a nice sandy beach under palm trees to relax at, and an awesome saltwater pool right along the shoreline to swim in. If the ocean has large enough swells, waves can crash into the edge of the pool which is fun! There is a sandy beach 3 miles south of Casa de Emdeko that is great for boogie boarding and diving under waves before they crash on shore (Magic Sands Beach). Great snorkeling at Kahalu'u Beach Park is just a few minutes further down the road (Ali'I Dr.). To the north are great sandy beachs about a 30- 60 minute drive in the Kohala resort areas. I would definitely recommend staying here as a home base for checking out all the Big Island has to offer or as a place to just stay local near Kona and relax. Oh,and the manta ray night snorkel, Pu'uhonua o Honaunau NHP, and Volcanos NP are must see while on the Big Island. If you have little ones and want a calm beach try 'A'opio Beach (accessed via a short trail from Honokohau Harbor).

We found the condo to be well maintained and completely stocked with everything we needed and expected. The lanai was setup was convenient. The TVs were large with great reception.
The whole condo was immaculately clean when we arrived and there were all the necessary cleaning supplies included. The kitchen was well laid out and stocked with everything we needed.
We loved the shower in the bathroom. It was enormous, with a river rock bottom, a large seat under the showers, 6 nozzles to spray from all imaginal directions. The controls were digital, so that you could set the temperature and flow rates and temperatures that you preferred, and get them every time when you turned it on.
And, Knutsons continued to offer needed instructions or help, whenever I needed it.

We totally enjoyed our stay. Everything was extremely clean. All the furniture looked brand new. There was nothing that we were not happy with in the condo. If we could visit again, we would like to stay in condo 210 again. It did not disappoint in any way!

We were in Kona for the Ironman World Championship and this was an ideal spot! It was close enough to the epicenter of all the activities to take care of business but also far enough away to be able to retreat and relax. Booking was easy and communication was simple. This unit was just as advertised and our one bedroom condo was still spacious enough to accommodate us when our 2 adult daughters opted to join us! The beds and linens were quite comfortable and the kitchen was nicely stocked so we could cook and enjoy many meals outside on the lanai. We even used the grills in the common area to cook out one evening. The salt water pool and beach area right on the water had breathtaking views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will miss those glorious Hawaiian sunsets!

We loved our stay at Casa De Emdeko. The condo was updated and comfortabe, with everything we needed. The lanai was great, and the salt water pool by the ocean was fantastic. We enjoyed using the bbq and watching the sunset from the patio by the beach.

This was such a cute little condo! It had all the amenities we needed and was very clean and decorated in Big Island spirit. The pool was amazing as it was right on the ocean and was perfect for an evening swim. Parking was easy too. There is also a small store right outside the entrance that was perfect for anything you may need for a snack or beverages.

Kona is beautiful. The condo was very good. The only issue was some grain beetles in the Kurick coffee pot, but, the team quickly dealt with them.

Stayed in July 2022. Very clean and comfortable unit. The accommodations were great. Check-in was a breeze. You can see and hear the ocean from the lanai. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of pans, plates and utensils when we ate in. Management responded quickly with any questions. WIll definitely look to stay here again.

The location is always amazing. We enjoyed the grounds. The unit is clean, comfortable, and well stocked. We really enjoyed the modern kitchen and cooked daily, which made our stay very relaxing and comfortable. We enjoyed our meals on the lanai listening to the birds and watching the boats pass by. The bathroom shower is like a spa. The A/C worked really well. We would highly recommend this unit at this location. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Thank you for making our long weekend - one to remember.

Casa De Emdeko is our favorite property on the island of Hawaii, and condo 210 is FANTASTIC. We have stayed in other condos at Case De Emdeko but none as beautifully upgraded as condo 210. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed to make excellent meals, it was beautifully refurbished. The bathroom, living room, and lanai was well appointed and upgraded. While the view of the ocean is not as vast from condo 210, as other condos it's still fantastic. The only recommendation I would make is to add an umbrella and chairs for beach adventures. The snorkel gear was a nice touch, though not something we needed. Overall I would stay at condo 210 again without hesitation. The condo and property were clean and bright, the fragrances used in the condo were lovely. The ac was most welcomed after warm days. Thank you for a lovely stay

Stayed in this unit for 10 days. We've stayed at the Casa a few times and our family members have stayed in other units at the Casa many times. This unit was by far one of the nicest ones we've seen or stayed at. It was spacious, clean, updated, and very comfortable! We were traveling with an infant, and enjoyed having the extra space in this 1 bedroom unit as opposed to some of the smaller 1 bedroom floorplans. The lanai is beyond amazing - we spent time out there every single day. The daybed on the lanai felt comfortable and clean and the patio table on the lanai was very nice and good quality furniture. The only downside (which is no one's fault) is that was that we wish it was on the top floor instead of the 2nd floor!! With an infant, sleep was sparse so it was extremely frustrating to hear every step taken on the unit above us. It reverberates throughout the condo, so no matter where the footsteps are you can hear them from all parts of the unit. Personally, we would choose to stay on a top floor next time, even if it's not as nice as this unit.

One disappointment was that we were originally told by the property owner (when she was allowing bookings through a vacation rental site and not through Knutson) that there was a pack-n-play included at the unit for infants. Which was honestly one of the main reasons we chose this unit! But when the property was transferred to Knutson, I inquired with Knutson about whether the pack-n-play was still included and I was informed that it was not included. However, when we arrived (after hauling our pack-n-play from home) we were surprised to see that there WAS in fact a pack-n-play in the master closet for our use! That was super frustrating because the pack-n-play took up half of one of our suitcases and was a pain to haul around. But that's what happens when you book through a property management company like this instead of booking directly with the property owners on a vacation rental site!

Our stay was perfect, the condo was very clean and fit the description on Airbnb very well! It's quite close to the Kona restaurants and shopping and there is a cute little beach out front (it is rocky though like most of the island). The customer service was great, I had forgotten to update my email address to one I still have access to but Knutson Property worked with me to get me the info I needed. 10/10 I would recommend this property to anyone!

The rental has everything you need for a nice stay. The location is good and right in front of a bus stop but you probably need a car. The Shower was amazing and bed was decent. There is a view of the water isn't direct but still nice. Was able to jump into the pool and use the bbq. The kitchen is well stocked to make a few meals. All in all a top end stay I wouldn't say luxurious but really comfortable for a couple.

The condo was in great condition and very clean. It was well stocked with linens and cleaning products. My only recommendation would be if there were beach chairs and umbrella that could be taken to use at the beach.

We have stayed in this unit several times. Seems to have most things we needed during our stay.We and our grandkids love both pools though only one was open during our visit. Not a problem. The location is great too. A decent walk to Kailua but not too far. We had a couple issues but rental agency sent someone over right away to check on the issue.
