We had a great time at Casa De Emdeko #324 and would happily stay again. The condo property was in amazing condition and watching the sunset each night was priceless.
There was one wine glass that cracked in the dishwasher.

We recently stayed at Casa De Emdeko and were not pleased with a few issues.
On our arrival there was broken glass on the bench top next to the oven and also on the floor next to the oven.
Our biggest complaint is that we had no kettle, it was a tedious job boiling water on the stove top.
The bathroom was well presented and clean.
The Floors also were clean.
The lounge was not particularly comfortable.
The Lanai chairs and table were not easy for dining because it was difficult to move the chairs close to the table.
The amount of detergents supplied were not adequate for a two week stay.

We LOVED our stay at Casa De Emdeko! The condo was very cute, very clean, and had everything we needed. We had an ocean view from our lanai, and the AC and fans kept us comfortable in the Hawaii heat and humidity. The grounds were stunning and immaculately maintained. There were hibiscus and plumeria everywhere. We enjoyed both pools, especially the oceanfront salt water pool. And every night there was a breathtaking sunset that we watched from the waterfront area of the complex. We cannot wait to come back!

Condo was on the top floor (3rd) and although it was farther from the beach than hoped, it still provided a nice view of the courtyard and ocean. Knuston & Associates was very responsive, via text, with any questions or concerns that I had.

The Good: Unit is right across from the elevator which is convenient. Top floor so you're not bothered by folks walking on the floor above you. Nice wi-fi. Lots of "beach" gear for your use. King bed was very comfortable. Kitchen is very well equipped.
Other: While the bathroom has been nicely redone, wouldn't call the shower "spectacular" -- it's nice but VERY small. Like the double sinks.
Not so Good: Furniture (living room & lanai) is dated & good use thorough cleaning and it's not the most comfortable. Bedroom is pretty small/confining -- would be better if it didn't have the 4 poster frame & queen rather than king would give more space to move around. Wouldn't describe the location as in "the heart of Kailua-Kona" ... it's an ok location but far away from the heart of tourist area with restaurants, shops, etc.
Overall: Adequate & the price was right; would we stay here again -- not sure.

Unfortunately the pool close to the sea was closed and on departure day we had no water (for maintenance reasons but we did not receive notification).

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa de Emdeko! The condo was clean and had everything we needed. We heard from Knutson upon arrival to make sure we made it and had everything we needed. The app was great and gave us all the info about the condo and surrounding areas, so that was helpful too. The condo isn’t right downtown and offers 2 pools and a little beach which was great. We hope to return again soon!

I love that they have 4 beach towels, 2 beach chairs, a small cooler, sunscreen, and snorkel gear! The bed was comfortable, pull out not so much. I love the condo. It is just the right size with a great view. The liquor and deli store is a short walk to get necessities like coffee or aloe vera. The free trolley has a stop right out front to take into town or White Sands beach. Washer and dryer as well. A/C was very welcomed when we first arrived.

We loved our stay here!! Everything you need to enjoy Hawaii except boogie boards. The salt water pool on the ocean front is amazing! Loved meeting at waters edge nightly to see the sunset with all the residents. Condo is very clean and well appointed but could use some new pillows and bedding in the bedroom.

We like the Casa de Emdeko location. Unit 324 was less then we had hoped for. The unit was not very clean. Sliding door & screen barely moved. The furniture was worn and dirty. Did not appreciate Knutson & Assoc. adding a tax surcharge above agreed on price. Our second week's property did not do this.

Casa De Emdeko was a beautiful place to stay. The condo was very clean and included everything we needed to sleep, have beach time, relax and cook meals. I appreciated the beach chairs, towels, cooler and especially the snorkel gear. We had a maintenance issue which was resolved the next day. The one thing I had an issue with was the parking. My daughter and I pretty much had our days planned out. We would leave earlier in the morning and then come back maybe around 7:30 pm. We could never find a place to park in the gated area. I'm sure most of the guests live in those condos, but it just seemed like no one ever left and there was never a spot to park inside the gated area. We always had to park outside the gated area. I'm not sure how that can be resolved (maybe designated parking stalls marked with room #) but I just wanted to let you know. We are looking forward to a future trip back to Kona!!

This is a small inexpensive condo just south of Kona but well within distance to shopping and restaurants. The property has a small private beach and 2 pools (one of which is salt water). There is also a small grocery and liquor store at the front of the property that proved to be valuable.

I'm an older man but until this stay at Casa De Emedeko, I had physically been in 49 of the United States. The only one missing had been Hawaii and this trip completed all 50 so it was a big deal for me. My son had stayed in this facility before and really liked it and I joined them for my 50th state visit. The location and unit were very nice and enjoyed the entire experience.

Great location loved the salt water pool. Community BBQ area with plenty of space to eat while watching the sunset . Just gorgeous. Unit is very nicely updated and in great condition - loved the rain water shower head.
