This absolutely stunning townhome is immaculate, remodeled and a Guest Favorite! Upon walking in on the main floor you'll notice beautiful hardwood floors throughout. Beautifully furnished, the floor plan is excellent.
There is a full bathroom downstairs that has a Walk In Shower.

The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club is a gated community of condominiums. There are three professional style tennis courts with night lighting. The large, remodeled swimming pool is ideal for “laps” and also for small children water activities. Showers and restrooms are conveniently located in the large pavilion near the swimming pool and tennis courts.
One of the most interesting features of the Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club are the numerous archaeological sites. These preserved areas provide a glimpse of Hawaiian life years ago. Each site has a posted description of the activities that took place years and years ago.
The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club has many gardens and walking trails. ONE GOES DIRECTLY TO A BEACH!! Flowers and tropical foliage are abundant. There are several outdoor barbecue areas for guests to go to.

Overall I was very happy with the experience. The place is well-maintained modern and clean. The location is about 10 minutes outside of KONA and really close to everything. There is a comfortable living room; two good size bedrooms and comfortable beds and a fully working kitchen. The check in process was easy and overall the price was reasonable and fair for what was offered. There were two MINOR issues: a. There are beach items which of course is a luxury but they are old and poorly organized and kept and so I'm not that useful. B. In general the Kunstman staff were very responsive and thoughtful – however I was disappointed that when I was checking out I was asked to not leave a negative review or anything critical online and I think that is unfair pressure to the client and unfair on other travelers. Other than that my experience is excellent notwithstanding my note - I recommend the Kunstman team and the property and club and would love to stay again.

We stayed two weeks in this unit near Kailua-Kona on the Big Island.
Unit was well suited for 4 adults. AC was excellent with inside units in living room and both bedrooms.
We had an issue with dishwasher but that was promptly fixed by maintenance.
All in all, a very enjoyable vacation trip.

My wife and I stayed here for 9 nights during Spring break. Great place with comfortable beds and all the amenities we needed for our vacation. Location of the rental is great with a 30 second walk to the pool. Resort location is also awesome close to stores and restaurants and some of the best snorkeling in all of Hawaii at Kahalu'u Beach Park.
We would absolutely stay here again.

The stay was great! There are nice paths to follow and listen to the waves crash against the lava or roll onto the beach. The grounds are clean and quiet. The shopping center is within walking distance and hosts a
Variety of shops to include a grocery store, bookstore, quilting store,

This townhouse is a great home away from home. It is well maintained and well equipped. The beds in it are very comfortable. An added benefit was having a beach on the property that was a short walk from our townhouse. When we were in Kona the surf was very high and our beach was the calmest of all the beaches we explored. We made use of the grills on the property every night and used one that was very close to our unit. Being able to see a piece of the ocean from our lanai was nice and we enjoyed all the beautiful flowers around our place and around the property. Highly recommend this townhouse for anyone visiting Kona.

The location and grounds were great, nice to be so close to the ocean and it was very quiet. But the townhouse had some issues. We discovered black mold in a kitchen cabinet, and the place smelled like a mixture of old smoke and mold. The water filter was also full of mold.

Apartment smells like an ashtray. Rental company did not want to acknowledge a cigarette smell saying it's subjective, however they offered an air fresheners that we declined.
We demanded refund or a new apartment to stay for the same price. Their response was that independently of the option we will be charged fro an extra cleaning fee.
Company owner called me and was very pushy saying his whole team is trying to help me. While in reality they just literally rubbered us for extra cleaning fee for their fault not disclosing that apartment smells badly.
At the end we ended up with a loss and renting airbnb in the same complex.

When we went to the unit, we confirmed NO smell of smoke was in the unit, but perhaps from a smoking area near by that MAY have wafted in, but when we went to the unit, there was no smell from what we could tell. We did not have an alternative unit to move you to on thanksgiving, so you insisted on a full refund. We offered almost an entirely full refund, minus the time that you did actually stay. You failed to mention this that we went above and beyond on a holiday trying EVERYTHING we could.

We enjoyed our stay at the Surf and Racquet Club! My boys play tennis and loved the lighted courts, which are in great condition. The pool is well maintained. The resort has a picnic table on the shoreline and a path to a nearby beach. It’s rocky shoreline, but beautiful and tranquil ocean views. We appreciated being about a 15-20 minute drive from the busier downtown Kona area, which was a fun place to shop and dine. There’s a great snorkeling beach about a 10 minute walk away, and Magic Sands with its huge waves, is only a little further. Our condo was well stocked with everything we needed, plus flippers, body boards, snorkeling gear, and noodles for the pool! There are also several grills available for use in the grounds. However, there was no workout facility. Management was quick to respond fir questions or concerns. Overall, excellent and would stay here again.

The rental lives up to expectations. Was very clean and everything in order. As expected in condos the walls are a bit thin so sound travels. You can easily hear neighbors fall down the stairs in the middle of the night. The ac works great and keeps the house cool. One of the beds is a bit clunky( if you move it clunks). Overall great location great place. I would stay here again.

This townhome was nicely updated, with air conditioning, new flooring, and a great kitchen. The coastline was a short walk away, as was a beach and historical site with a secluded beach. Easy driving distance to a mall with several restaurants, drugstore, grocery. Just up the road is a public beach with a lifeguard. This is a great vacation spot!

We would definitely recommend this property! This unit is in the perfect location in the complex. It’s just close enough to the pool and the ocean but not too close and no road noise. The townhouse was clean, well-maintained and exactly as described. Knutson & Associates was excellent to work with. We very much enjoyed walks/sunsets at the beach, relaxing at the pool and playing pickleball. The complex has a friendly resort feel.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The home was very clean, close to downtown - about a 10-15 minute drive, and supplied with everything we needed. There were even beach supplies (towels, snorkeling gear, boogie boards, umbrella) which we really appreciated. We had access to the community pool which was very close to the unit, and there was beach access across from the unit. The beds were very comfortable, and everything was really clean. We would definitely stay here again.

The unit is clean and well equipped. There is a good amount of water toys and snorkeling gear. The unit is air conditioned. It isn’t directly on the ocean, but it’s only a few yards away and there is access to a private beach to watch the sunset. The location is very convenient to activities and shopping.

Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 younger children) had a great stay for 3 weeks at this property.
The Surf & Racquet club really lives up to its name! You can play tennis, pickle ball, or ping pong, in addition to the swimming pool. Our kids had tennis lessons 4-5 times a week (they have an on-site tennis pro!)
We literally walked (5-10 mins) to the Kahalu'u Bay, which has some of the best snorkeling and surfing on the island (although summer is supposedly not the right season for surfing on the west coast of the island).
In the summer, the magic sands beach is a great place for boogie boarding (for older and/or more experienced boogie-boarders) and is only 5 min drive.
The KTA supermarket, Longs drugstore, and a few restaurants are only up the hill (where you will also find, almost daily, individual stands selling fresh fruits, veggies, fish, etc. just outside of the strip mall).
There were a few things that could've been better at the property: the couch and chair in the living room are old and not too comfortable, there were too few kitchen items and no vacuum when we arrived, but the property manager more than made up for them by re-imbursing our modest purchase for those items.
The property manager has also been 100% responsive to our issues - whether it's replacing the battery to the AC controller, the cable box that is not functioning, etc. Top notch service!

Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 younger children) had a great stay for 3 weeks at this property.
The Surf & Racquet club really lives up to its name! You can play tennis, pickle ball, or ping pong, in addition to the swimming pool. Our kids had tennis lessons 4-5 times a week (they have an on-site tennis pro!)
We literally walked (5-10 mins) to the Kahalu'u Bay, which has some of the best snorkeling and surfing on the island (although summer is supposedly not the right season for surfing on the west coast of the island).
In the summer, the magic sands beach is a great place for boogie boarding (for older and/or more experienced boogie-boarders) and is only 5 min drive.
The KTA supermarket, Longs drugstore, and a few restaurants are only up the hill (where you will also find, almost daily, individual stands selling fresh fruits, veggies, fish, etc. just outside of the strip mall).
